Baranof Bound is owned and operated by Dustin and Chelsea McLeod, lifelong Alaskans with deep roots in Sitka’s commercial fishing heritage. With multiple generations raised on these waters, our family has developed a profound love for life on the ocean and the unique rhythm of Southeast Alaska.

We embrace the long falls and winters, often adventuring with our five children—hunting, fishing, exploring, and even bear viewing during our eco tours. These shared experiences have shaped a lifestyle rooted in resilience, wonder, and deep respect for the land and sea.
As parents, we’re committed to passing on this way of life. We strive to instill in our children a passion for the natural world, a respect for Alaska’s abundant resources, and a growing interest in wildlife photography.
